1. Enable Tips Feature in SalesPlay Back Office
- In some countries, including the United States, the “Tips” function in a POS system is an essential feature for businesses that rely on tips, such as restaurants and bars.
- The system allows you to set different tip percentages, calculate tip amounts automatically, and display them on the receipt.
- Customers can clearly see available tipping options printed on the receipt.
Steps to Enable Tips
- Login to the POS Back Office Web Portal.
- Select “Settings” from the main menu.
- Go to the “Feature” section.
- Turn ON the “Tips” button.
- Click “Save”.
2. Access the Tips Settings Menu
- Once the “Tips” feature is turned ON, it will appear as a sub-menu under the Settings section.
