SalesPlay POS System now allows users to reset the Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) number sequence based on shifts. Previously, KOT numbers were printed continuously without resetting. Now, POS users can start a fresh KOT number sequence at the end of each shift for better organization and tracking.
How It Works
When ending a shift, users will see an option to toggle on the “Reset KOT Number Sequence”.
- Enabled: KOT numbers will reset at the beginning of the next shift.
- Disabled: KOT numbers will continue sequentially without resetting.
This feature ensures greater flexibility and efficiency in managing KOT numbers according to shift changes.
How to Reset the KOT Number Sequence
Steps:
- Open the POS App main menu.
- Select Manage Sale.
- Click Cash Management.
- Select Shift End.
- Tick Reset KOT Number Sequence.
- Click Run Shift End Process.
- Click Complete.
Once completed, the KOT number will reset at the beginning of the next shift.
Special Note
To use this feature, you must activate the Shift function via the Back Office.
