Customize Sale Screen (Favourite) in SalesPlay POS

SalesPlay POS allows you to personalize your sales screen using the Customize Sale Screen feature. This enables businesses to arrange products in a way that best suits operational needs, improving staff efficiency and speeding up transactions.

You can group items by fast-moving products, complementary items, or time slots (e.g., Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). This makes the POS interface more intuitive and user-friendly, helping staff locate products quickly and reducing checkout times.

Why the Customize Sale Screen Is Useful

By default, SalesPlay POS includes:

  • Page 1: A blank custom sale screen.
  • Default Screen / Grid Icon Page: Displays products alphabetically (fixed, non-editable).

Benefits of Customization:

  • Highlight Fast-Selling Products: Keep top-selling items front and center.
  • Group Complementary Items: For example, pair tyres with tubes or printers with ink.
  • Categorize by Time or Usage: Arrange products by meal times or business-specific categories like “Fast Movers” or “Best Sellers.”

Note: The Customize Sale Screen feature is currently available only in landscape mode. For portrait mode, use the Favourite Products option.

How to Use the Customize Sale Screen

Add Products to a Custom Sale Page

  1. Open the POS App and go to the New Sale screen.
  2. Tap on Page 1 or any custom page.
  3. Long press until the Add Product (+) icon appears.
  4. Tap the + icon and select a product from the list.
  5. Repeat for additional products.
  6. Tap DONE to save changes.

Rearrange Products on a Page

  1. Open the New Sale screen.
  2. Long press to enter setup mode.
  3. Tap and hold a product, drag it to the desired location.
  4. Tap DONE to save changes.

Remove a Product from a Page

  1. Open the New Sale screen.
  2. Long press to enter setup mode.
  3. Tap the small X icon on the product.
  4. Tap DONE to save changes.

 

Create a New Custom Sale Page

  1. Open the New Sale screen.
  2. Long press to enter setup mode.
  3. Tap the Add Page icon.
  4. A new page (e.g., Page 2, Page 3) is created.

Rename a Custom Sale Page

  1. Long press to enter setup mode on the desired page.
  2. Tap the dropdown arrow next to the page name.
  3. Select Rename, enter a new name, and save.

Reorder Pages

  1. Long press to enter setup mode.
  2. Tap the dropdown arrow next to the page name.
  3. Select Move Left or Move Right.
  4. Tap DONE to save changes.

Delete a Custom Sale Page

  1. Long press to enter setup mode.
  2. Tap the dropdown arrow next to the page name.
  3. Select Delete and confirm.

 

Special Notes

  • You can create up to 6 custom sale pages.
  • Each page can hold up to 20 products.
  • If you replace or switch devices, custom pages will need to be recreated.
  • For portrait mode, use the Favourite Products option instead.

Personalizing your sales interface with the Customize Sale Screen feature enhances team efficiency and improves the customer experience.
