You can connect a network printer to the Web POS terminal using an Ethernet cable and a WiFi router.

Step 1: Connect the Printer to the Network

  1. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the printer’s Ethernet port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the WiFi router port.

 

Step 2: Printer Settings

  1. Power ON the WiFi router.
  2. Connect the Web POS terminal to the router WiFi.
  3. Make sure the network cable is connected between the router and the thermal printer.
  4. Power OFF the printer.
  5. Press and hold both the printer Power button and the Feed button for a few seconds.
  6. A self-test/settings sheet will print, including the printer IP address.

 

 

Step 3: Web POS Setup

1 Login to Web POS

  • Open Web POS and click Settings > Printers

2 Download the Printer Setup File

3 Install the Printer Software

  1. Unzip the downloaded file
  2. Run setup.exe and install the software
  3. Run the Thermal Printer Setup shortcut on the desktop

 

 

4 Add a New Printer

  1. Click Add Printer on the setup page
  2. Click Add New
  3. Enter a printer name
  4. Tick Print receipts and bills
  5. Select Connection Mode as Network
  6. Enter the Printer IP (from the earlier printout)
  7. Keep the printer ON
  8. Click Save

Your printer is now connected and ready. You can start billing using Web POS.
